MOVING ON

MEET OUR MOMS MOVING ON
CERTIFIED COACHES

JESS

JESS

Nice to meet you, I am Jess Evans, BA, MOMCC, CDS. I’m a single mama of two amazing children, Holden and Sawyer. I am a born and raised Wisconsin girl and despite our frigid winters, love everything about living here.

I found myself going through divorce as a stay-at-home mom to two young kids. The thought of spending any time away from them sent me into a tailspin. As a child of divorce, and having no relationship with my father, I made a promise to myself that I would always put my children first and ensure they had a strong relationship with their dad. We are nearly 5 years into our co-parenting journey and have found our groove. I have worked with Michelle as part of the Moms Moving On brand for nearly two years and it has helped transform my co-parenting experience.

As a Moms Moving On Certified Divorce and Co-Parenting coach and Certified Divorce Specialist, it is a goal of mine to help clients work through the emotions of divorce and co-parenting while putting their children first. I also want my clients to find ways to fill their cup and fall in love with themselves when their children are with the other parent. I believe that divorce can give you a second chance at life, love and being the best mom you can be. I want to help empower my clients to become the best version of themselves and find confidence post-divorce. I look forward to being by your side on this journey.

I enjoy spending quality time with my kids, checking out new restaurants with my girlfriends, reading, and am an avid runner. Moving my body helped immensely in my divorce and continues to help me find my center in stressful times. My educational background is in animal science, but I have always had a passion for helping others. I have completed the Moving On Method certified coach training as well as the NADP Certified Divorce Specialist program. I looking forward to helping you move on!

CAITLIN

I’m Caitlin and I’m a mom based in Westchester, NY to a 5 year old boy and 7 year old girl, with a baby on the way! I have been divorced and co-parenting since 2019, after initially splitting from my ex when my son was just 5 months old. I vividly remember the terrifying feeling of “how am I going to make it through to the end of this day?” and not even fathoming the possibility of moving on. And then, incredibly – with the right community, divorce coach, and support it became possible. I found Michelle and her program changed my life.

I cannot wait to support other single parents in their journey and provide the tools and resources to get to the other side through the lens of the Moms Moving On Method – with strength and optimism for what the future holds for them and their children.

LINDSEY

I was a stay-at-home mom with two young kids when I got divorced, and overtime, became the go-to for all things divorce among my social circles. When other moms started reaching out to me for guidance during their own divorces, I naturally began to pay it forward. Because here is the thing about divorce: we don’t know what we don’t know. And there is a lot to know! With so much at stake, most importantly our children’s wellbeing, support is crucial. Especially from someone who has been there. I help moms navigate the process and emotions of divorce while staying kid focused in their decision making and dealings with their coparent. My hope is that they come out the other side empowered, confident and ready to rebuild. I am a Moving On Method Certified Divorce and Coparenting Coach, National Association of Divorce Professionals’ Certified Divorce Specialist (CDS™️) and a Certified Life Coach. I have two incredible daughters from my first marriage and a little boy with my forever husband.

Tara Moen

TARA

Hi, I am Tara Moen. After being a stay-at-home mom for many years to my 4 children, I found myself going through a painful divorce and starting my life over. I needed to figure out what my new path should be as a single mom while navigating the new challenges of coparenting. I had never been away from my kids, and it was devastating. Therapy gave me time to reflect on where I saw myself heading. I went back to school and became a counsellor. My own experiences further fueled my desire to help other people through the chaos of divorce. I knew there had to be a better way to make things less painful for the children, so I became a coach.
My goal as a Moms Moving On certified divorce and parenting coach is to help clients keep their children at the centre of their decision making. No matter what happened in the relationship, the children are still a part of both parents and need to remain the positive focus. I want to help women realize that while divorce can be painful and scary, there will also be joy and self discovery and so many beautiful moments left to come.

MANDY

Divorce touches everyone, if you are personally going through a divorce, or know someone like a sibling or a friend or you are even a child of divorce, it truly impacts us all. The right support and guidance can help you make positive decisions that can change the course of your life and family.

Hi, my name is Mandy Kakon, I am a mother of 2 young kids 7 and 4, and I’m here to help throughout the divorce process. My child-centered approach has allowed me to help my clients attain a “kid first mindset” as they transition into their new roles as co-parents.

Along with my master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University, I’ve trained with Michelle Dempsey-Multack a highly regarded author and Certified Divorce Specialist using her successful “Moving On Method” and became certified as a Moving On Method and Co-Parenting Coach. Her program emphasizes a child-centered approach, and this perspective shift is pivotal in not only effectively communicating with your ex but it will help you separate the emotions from the divorce so you can co-parent successfully. I can walk you through the process in breaking the news to your children, step by step that is most age appropriate and sensitive to their needs. I can help you understand and answer some of the most feared questions “why can’t you just work it out?” My philosophy is when children are involved, we must rise above our adult differences and put the needs of our kids first, remember they did not choose to get divorced. I can help you and your co-parent set up healthy boundaries and communicate effectively so you can co-parent collaboratively.

As a Certified Divorce Specialist (CDS) I will provide you with all the pertinent information a divorcing client would need to know and understand such as the legal, financial and mental health implications.

My passion for children combined with my certification as a Child Behavior Specialist (CBCP) provided me the skills and knowledge to help you navigate through the challenges that arise with your children from each behavioral problem and transition. The philosophy is firm and fair parenting with the focus on YOU, the parent. I want to be able to provide you with the tools, strategies and positive language that you can utilize and always have in your pocket.

I have combined my passion for children with my own personal experience and educational achievements to acquire the skills to help guide and coach you through some of the most challenging times in your life. I look forward to working with you!

Victoria

Hi, I’m Victoria, and I’m a mom to a 7yr old son and 3yr old daughter. An east coast city girl, I grew up in Toronto Canada, lived in New York City for the past 11 years, and currently reside in Southern California.

With a background in marketing and advertising, I am also a Certified Nutritionist and Wellness Coach. I took a pause from my career to become a full time mom. When my marriage ended I was not prepared for the prospect of rebuilding my life and career, all in the midst of navigating the emotional impact of divorce and co-parenting. All divorce is hard, however if you’re a full time mom or mom of young children, it can feel particularly daunting.

In those early stages, I couldn’t imagine moving on let alone thriving and experiencing joy. I attribute my knowledge of wellness, nutrition, mindfulness and mindset principles in helping me move through my divorce in a positive and empowering way. I am grateful for the resources, training and coaches that supported me on my journey. It is my deepest purpose and joy to pay it forward.

As an M.O.M. Divorce Coach I am passionate about helping moms find their power to navigate the overwhelming early stages of divorce and the grace to take the high road. I will support you in creating your best life with a healthy body, mind and spirit, as well as a positive co-parenting experience for your children and a divorce they won’t need to recover from.

SARAH

After my own experiences I made the decision to dedicate my life to try and help as many other people to not go through this experience of high conflict divorce and co-parenting alone. I have degrees in psychology, public policy, social impact, business, and law. My professional background consists of working in areas of social work, domestic violence, child advocacy, mediation, conflict resolution, and obtaining protective orders. I have assisted individuals diagnosed with personality disorders and their partners; along with those working through trauma recovery and overcoming victimology. I enjoy helping parents develop boundaries while better understanding communication deficits that may be prohibiting a positive relationship with themselves, their children, and their co-parents. I believe we can succeed in finding a way to bridge the gap in co-parenting even when dealing with an extremely high conflict or antagonistic partner.

I enjoy a happy life with my three wonderful children and our tiny farm of animals. I am constantly filled with gratitude for the support of my family, friends, and community.
